5 stars Heep is back. A 10 year wait that , in the end, was worth it. I liked very much SOL and Sonic but for a Heep fan it was kind of a let down, there was something missing. With this album, everything has fallen into place. The early Heep sound is back on about all of the songs, and yet when you get a couple of listens of the whole album it sounds nevertheless very actual. I won't go into all of the songs but as the first song of the CD , the title track Wake The Sleeper says it all. Overload, Light Of A Thousand Stars, What Kind of God to name a few all have the heavy rock Heep sound and progressive lyrics that were the bands trademark. Whenever I poped in one of the last albums my friends would say Thats not Heep.. , when I popped in this one they said 'Thats Heep. So a big thank you is due to Mr. Box who stuck to his guns for the last ten years. A big and enthusiastic 5 stars.
