2 stars OK, let's just get this straight. This is nothing new to the Anathema catalogue. It is merely two songs from the master work Judgement made into a short EP to promote the album. I personally only got this for the artwork, and it is a pretty cool front cover with some entertaining stuff in the sleeve, but honestly - go out and buy the actual album. This is only a snipet, and probably not the strongest songs on the record. This EP however does represent a switch in periods for the bands. The transition from straightforward, high quality Doom Metal into the heavily Pink Floyd influenced melodic progressive doom metal phase. The two songs are pretty good actually. But no where near as good as the rest of the album, and more another 5 big ones more, you can purchase Judgement, their magnum opus. Don't waste your time and money on this one unless you are a collector/fan. In that sense, I will give this EP a two star rating, as it brings absolutely nothing to the Anathema discography.
