5 stars 4, 5 stars, really. Maybe the album featuring the best playing on any GG-release, a complete meltdown of insane, but brilliant ideas and time-signatures. Kerry Minnear, especially, visits musical territories unexplored by anyone but him. Seeing him play these tracks live on the "Giant on the box" DVD is nothing short of other-worldy. He seems to master any instrument with complete ease, and the sky really is the limit. That being said, it sometimes gets too dense for anyone but the most intelligent listener, especially on "Cogs on cogs" on "So sincere" and "the Face". Not in any way POPular music!!

Good as it is, it simply beats my musical abilities as a listener. Perhaps, some day I'll understand it!
