Progressive Biography

I was introduced to music when my father bought a big set of cassette player/recorder in mid-1970s. Oldies and jazz albums were stuff my two little brothers and I listened to a lot. But the gates were already opened. What started as only several albums my father bought soon grew to be a vast library of music everyone in the family had his/her own contribution.

My introduction to rock started with Aktuil, a local music magazine with a large base of loyal readers I began buying at a regular basis not long after my father bought the set. I began to know big names such as Jimie Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Yes, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, and so on. They enthralled me. And it was just natural when finally I decided to buy albums on my own; it began with Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd) and Made in Japan (Deep Purple).
