Progressive Biography

Brazilian father, husband and.... engineer. A prog-head since my teenager years - more than 1/3 of a century ago, but not an "old guy stuck in the 70s".
I enjoy more Symphonic & Italian Prog, Psychedelic & Space and Prog Folk giving a special attention to bands (all sub-genres) coming from Latin America and Eastern Europe.

My preferred bands are:
Genesis (Gabriel-Hackett era)
Pink Floyd
Jethro Tull
Premiata Forneria Marconi
Moody Blues
Hawkwind
Van Der Graaf Generator
Le Orme
Gentle Giant
Harmonium
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
King Crimson
Focus
O Terço, Mutantes, Bacamarte, Sagrado and many others

For the new bands, I like mainly Symphony X, Flower Kings, Ayreon, Porcupine Tree, etc.

Really, I hear basically everything that's prog or proto-prog or prog-related - when talking about progressive music, my heart is like a mother's one: there's always space for a new one!
