1 stars ... Or how Rush goes down. One of their most cheesy albums.

They changed their musical direction roughly every 4 albums, managing to adapt, to evolve and to create their own style. Power Windows started a musical direction period after Grace Under Pressure. But the magic and the progressive craft are gone... No catchy heavy riffs, no epic moments, no futuristic synthetizer, no jazz-rock passages. All tracks here sounds similar, poppish and commercial. The second half of the 80s has not been quite a favorable period for Rush, although it goes a little better with Presto and Roll the Bones...
