3 stars Interesting, but not maybe the most essential psychedelic-oriented recording from the South America. I must admit, that as the language of Miguel de Cervantes is not familiar to me, I missed all from the lyrical content of this record. Nevertheless, the album was a pleasant record to listen through, I think much influences were drawn from the mid 1960's psychedelic records, mainly maybe from The Doors. Some songs of the album are quite basic bluesy rock tunes with keyboard passages resembling the band I mentioned, but there are also some very sophisticated impressionistic walls of sound found here, and I would recommend this album for anybody of interested in obscure Latin psych oriented music. The classical painting of Goya on the album jacket sets serious moods for the listening moments certainly.
