5 stars I entirely agree with the bio note on Discipline. The Album's atmosphere varies from tense, dramatic vocal/instrumental parts to slowlier and simpler, but equally enjoyable tunes. Songs are aptly balanced, both in length and in the distribution of the more and the less progressive elements. Sheer fun to listen, with lots of Hamill's infulence - so Van Der Graaf Generator's fans should be even more pleased.

I think I should add that this is the kind of music prog rock needs in the new millenium. The album has its clearly visible inspirations, but sounds very fresh. I just wonder what could be their next studio album like.

The band is mostly promising, it's a shame they haven't released any studio albums following this one.
