4 stars This is awesome... I really didn't expect a lot for this work, but man it completly blew me away (I left another album to listen this, and I think it was worth!) I really don't love Flower Kings neither Spock's Beard, but when you combine this they sound like paradise. Oddly enough I still prefer SMPTe but this one is a must listen out there.

Pros: +Long suites we all love! +Portnoy is better than ever. +Stable sound. +Different (?) artwork.

Cons: -Requires many listens.

Verdict: 4 stars, I don't know why, it simply doesn't fills me as much as SMPTe but don't get me wrong, it is a stellar album: Hope we don't have to wait 8 years for another album (*ahem Whirlwind ahem*)

I can say no more than absolutely recomend the other three records from Transatlantic, if you like Kaleidoscope, you'll love the others for sure.
