5 stars A terrific only one of its kind album. Initially I thought it did not sound zeuhl, but more avant garde-fusion cross with a strong influence of Mahavishnu Orchestra, but after a few more listens I realised its underlying structure is zeuhl, the extra sounds in particular the xylophone are just the icing, in many places if vocals were added you could imagine the zeuhl chanting in it, especially Arrakis. The album has a sinister vibe not to the degree of Univers Zero (in fact it sounds very cheerful compared to UV).The fuzz bass is also brilliant and points the music very much in the zeuhl tradition. This album did take a few listens for it to grow on me, but its well worth the investment Its a shame these guys only created one album because they have phenominal musicianship, and composing skills. Although a single album thetre is bonus live material including one song that didn't make it on the album. Highly essential.
