4 stars I met this album few years ago, because of my friend which play guitar. He gave me this album, because he was very suprised of Guthrie technique. And I must say, that anyone except Guthrie Govan is not able to play this. I think that we can call it "modern fusion", its sound "freshy" for me i think that its the merit of mastering this album, where bass guitar have very clean sound and of course music which have got nice harmony diffrent from "classic" fusion jazz. This album is simpler from a Miles Davis or Soft Machine ( I always think, that its this way, because they are based on inflatable instruments and usually people listening classic rock, metal etc. rarely hear tone of them ) , and if you want to show your friend new genre of music for him I recommend it, and I also recommend it for anyone who prefer modern fusion than old.
