5 stars Is this prog. or is it just radio friendly prog. rock? Who really cares, as long as it's so well written, produced and performed and maybe most important: so dripping full of emotion! The opener "Splintering Heart" builds itself up from scratch and then climaxes several times in orgies of emotional and melodic guitar solos as only Steve Rothery can deliever them. "No One Can", "Waiting to Happen" and "Dry Land" are master examples of well crafted pop/rock ballads while the closing triology of "This Town", "The Rakes Progress" and "100 Nights" is sheer prog. rock-light beauty and bliss that goes straight to the heart and will never leave you again.

Probably my personal favorit from H-era closely followed by "Seasons End".
