4 stars This is the project of Sebastien who produced and write everything this time . This is the second full-length album. Sebastien play all instruments. For someone that has done all the mixing and recording himself, the results are excellent. The guitars and keyboards are not playing at the same time, to give a more live and raw sound. The guitars has many colors and tones in this album. From the opening track we are in the post-rock atmosphere. The way the vocals are use can remind you of Radiohead, we can't hear clearly the words, but often the singing is use like a melodic instrument with the music. However we are not always in a Post-Rock style, some big Metal riffs sometimes similar to Porcupine Tree are heard throughout this cd. There is some melancholic passages, and also some strange passages, especially with some keyboards lines. The compositions are somewhat complex , but the slow pace of the songs let you absorb the melody that is most of the times intense almost ready to explode and when it does with a loud blast of guitars, it get back to some quieter atmosphere. There some tasty bass lines break to complete this very well produced album. This is a beautiful "Flood of Strange Sensations"...
