2 stars Jammin' and jammin' and jammin' and jammin'... WHY?

The album opens with my favorite song by Nektar, the wonderful "Nektar / Good Day", which makes you believe that this is gonna be a prog/blues rock masterpiece. But then they start to jam. Forever.

At least 3/5 of this album's total length consists of guitar-drum solos. I have never listened to another album with so much jamming in my whole life. What's the point here? To prove that they know how to play? We knew that! To prove that they are master soloists or something? Well, not exactly the elite. And even if they were, no one can go on soloing for THAT much without being boring. Maybe the Allman Brothers? I don't know.

A few great songs, but a frustrating amount of jamming overshadows everything else.
