5 stars In 2005 Oceansize released their strongest album to date - Everyone Into Position.

Effloresce was almost a masterpiece, and I really didn’t believe that Oceansize would manage to surpass such a strong album. EIP is a more precise and combined album than Effloresce: Oceansize showed us their ability to write more song-oriented compositions keeping them even more progressive and complex. EIP is a beautiful collection of utterly various songs, logically connected with each other (though, no concept here), which show all the sides of Prog in the best way – light and dark, mellow and ultra-heavy and so on. Here we can meet with: a heavy side of nowadays Prog – A Homage To A Shame (10/10, amazing track), No Tomorrow (10/10, one of their best songs); a post-rock influenced Prog - Music For A Nurse (8.5/10, with wonderful atmospheres), Mine Host (8/10); a diverse Prog - Heaven Alive (9/10, comprising stunning various riffs and structures), Ornament/The Last Wrongs (9/10, a very emotional and heartfelt closing of the album); a well-structured straightforward Prog - The Charm Offensive (9.5/ 10, a wonderful opening of the album), New Pin (10/10, with catching drums and well-organized acoustic and electric guitars); a calm and mellow Prog – Meredith (8/10); and monotonous post-metal- like Prog - You Can’t Keep A Bad Man Down (8.5/10).

Conclusion: The best moments which WERE in Progressive music, ARE in Modern Prog and WILL BE in future Prog IS HERE. A very important release for every “progressive” progressive rock-fan :-) . A Masterpiece.
