4 stars Their first collaboration produced magnificent songs like Wave, Gone to Earth from Sylvian's Gone to Earth album. But this album is a bit more dominated by Fripp's vision. The outcome of course is adventurous music never heard before-a gift for the listener! Fripp's solo on Firepower finds the perfect balance between heart and mind, Sylvian's voice is (as always) outstanding and the rhythm section is perfect for these two musicians to build their ambient and also very heavy atmospheres. Again (as any Sylvian or Fripp) the music is difficult to label, and of course it is not necessary...ambient, funk rhythms, heavy Crimso riffs...Music is inspiring and optimistic, like a guardian spirit around you
