4 stars The first Zeppelin album to have a real name - not just a number, or a suite of runes ! Houses Of The Holy contains some great songs, and is probably the most progressive Zeppelin album. Just listen to No Quarter, The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song or the Tolkien-inspired Over The Hills And Far Away to be convinced. With a beautiful cover art, this is an adventurous album (not as adventurous as the follower), and a great one. Just two songs I hate : the reggae D'yer Mak'er and Dancing Days.
