REMEDY LANE RE:VISITED (RE:MIXED & RE:LIVED)

At the same time a remastered version of the original and a live rendition with the new line up from 2014.

This album never tires, and after almost 15 years since its release. The new remaster is a huge improvement. It's not only remastered but it's entirely remixed. It sounds warmer and has more dynamics. I can't really remember how the original sounded. I have to listen to both versions at the same time. But I really have the feeling the remaster sounds a lot better.

As for the album itself: it is considered to be one of the best albums ever made. And Daniel Gildenlow is a genius, great songs, great interplay and top notch lyrics. Daniel is very gifted singer, maybe the best singer in rock I can think of. He has so much emotion in his voice, he pours his heart and soul out in every song.

The live version of the album is with a different line-up than the Original, but that's hardly noticeable, except, that some leadvocals are done by a different bandmember. I don't know who, because it's not made clear. But it really adds to the colour of the overall sound.
