4 stars A truly original and excellent album. The unusual vocals (sounding really quite like Tim Buckley's) take a bit of getting used to but soon you'll realise that he's using them more like an instrument than perhaps anyone else I've ever heard - one comparison you can make is Wyatt's vocals on Rock Bottom. In fact, in a number of other ways, this could be called a similar album so if you love Rock Bottom I think you'll love this. Due to the many layered sounds and complexity and it's sheer uniqueness, this is an album that will stay with you forever.
