3 stars This record is in fact more or less a reissue of 'The Bridge', a solo album of Dave Cousins with Brian Willoughby. The differences are: 1.- Two songs (those more acoustic) have been removed to fill more in the concept of the group. 2.- Some of the songs have re-recorded backings, with several Strawbs members that were absent in the original recording. 3.- Some new tracks, of wich most of them are ok versions of previous songs and one track is new. The result is strange. It serves as a re-introduction for the band in the music world (in fact, their second reunion), while we wait for the next Strawbs CD of new material. 'The Bridge' was a good record, although not among the best Cousins has made. And the new versions are interesting for fans, but that's it. As a bonus track (in a record made itself of bonus tracks) you can find the first version of 'The King', with Maddy Prior, previously unavailable, wich has ended up being my favourite.
