5 stars ...And Justice For All is another master piece from one of the greatest bands ever. Almost every track is frickin sweet and the guitars are amazing. When I first got hold of this album, I didn't like it much. I only bought it for the fact that One was one of my favorite songs. This is the first Metallica album to feature bassist Jason Newsted, since it is the first after the tragic death of the group's former bassist Cliff Burton. So the only thing that is not good on this album is bass (there is no bass). These excellent lyrics here explore our justice system, but unfortunately the production is not the best, but the album is still a classic.

Blackened 10/10 - Similar to Fight Fire with Fire, the great intro and an amazing solo.

...And Justice for All 10/10 - Clocks in at over 9 minutes, it is always great to listen to it

Eye of the Beholder 9/10 -

One 10/10 - I bought an album to listen to this song.

The Shortest Straw 8/10 - Great lyrics

Harvestor of Sorrow 9/10 - Every band member had his own seat in the tour bus - except in the tragic night in which Cliff did swap his seat with Kirk because they made a kind of game about it and Kirk pulled the right card (spade ace). So in that way Cliff picked The Shortest Straw before the terrible accident in 1986.

The Frayed Ends of Sanity 8/10 - Up there with The Shortest Straw for the weakest track on the album, but also another strong track. No fillers here!!

To Live is to Die 10/10 - Its mostly instrumental composition except Cliffs short lyrics: When a man lies, he murders some part of the world.

These are the pale deaths which men miscall their lives.

All this I cannot bear to witness any longer.

Cannot the kingdom of salvation take me home?.

Dyers Eve 9/10 -

Highly recommended, but if you're new to the band check out Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning, first.
