Interesting compilation if you love POP Jazz. In truth I think that this compilation is only a compilation of
Soul POP with Funky moments. Interesting is the fact that Davis seeks to use the typical 80's Soul to renew his Jazz. For me, personally, do not entirely convinced... Too cold. Certainly his trumpet is always good but, I repeat, the compositions are not entirely convinced me. Two examples? The live version of ''Summertime'' with Quincy Jones is a good example. Better the old version, more hot. Also the live version of ''Time After Time'' is cold and sure the studio version is too good. Unless you want to complete the discography of Miles Davis, I believe that for the Warner Jazz years this compilation is more than enough.
