3 stars 3 The first album by pink floyd for a soundtrack, the first one without any involvement of Syd Barret and the first where David Gilmour was the lead vocalist. I considered it a average album, however far of the standard of a Pink Floyd records. It contains mostly acoustic songs and a few avant-garde passages. In general, two or three song stands out (Nile Song, Green is the Colour and other instrumental parts), Lyrically it has its moments, but nothing special. I recommend it only for Pink Floyd Fans, to prog listener I don't think is going to fulfill their expectations, but it has its moments.
