5 stars 4.5: The only single for the last album of Pink Floyd (Endless River). It is a very good song, the lyrics are based in the Live 8 reunion, where the band after several years of being apart, share the scenario for a benefit concert. it was written by Polly Samon, wife of Gilmour, when she saw that they didn't even talk or say a thing to make the room comfortably before the concert. They began the concert and everything change, there was a connection between them. Personally, I liked a lot, it is a very soft and slow prog sound, but really well accompanied by the mini guitar solos and a good arregement, including keyboards by Wright. I considered it a essential song not only because it is a good composition and has really good music, but because it sumarize in words the history of one of the best and most influencial prog bands of all time.
