4 stars This album is a great peace of music, fantastic opener ''Return to fantasy'' makes you realize that this will bee another Heep classic. As we all know there was a new bassist in the band John Wetton and you can hear the change. I prefer Gary but John did a good job on the album. Album contains two great rock 'n' roll songs ''Shady lady'' and ''Prima donna'', two fantastic and unforgettable ballads ''You turn to remember'' and ''Why did you go''. Byron is great on these very hard songs to sing (Beautiful dream, A year or a day). For me the highlight of these album is the last tune, fantastic prog rock song ''A year or a day'' fantastic lyrics and a great performance from the whole band specially Byron. In my opinion this is the last real Heep album until ''Sea of light'', There were solid two solid albums with Lawton (Firefly, Innocent victim) but for me Heep lost the touch after these album too many pop rock oriented songs but it all came together after '' Sea of light'', ''Sonic origami'' and '' Wake the sleeper''. This is a really fantastic album and in my opinion a must have .
