4 stars 'The Mincer/Law of Maximum Distress' One of the craftiest and most interesting King Crimson songs. The original song appears on the band's sixth album 'Starless and Bible Black' where the lyrics are sang by John Wetton. This new KC50 version, however, is a re-recorded one and features an additional section ('Law of Maximum Distress'). The KC50 series feature an introduction by the band's current manager David Singleton (who usually tells the story of the making of this rare version). 'The Mincer/Law of Maximum Distress' is the fourth installment in the series. Most of these songs are either rare and unreleased, or re-recorder and edited version of some original recordings.
