3 stars 'OT&DO at the Place' is a live album by Russian instrumental band 'OT&DO'. Founded back in 2003, the band have released an EP and a single. Their sound is quite jazzy, the band keeps a lower pace, definitely an enjoyable listen if you want something calm and not too challenging for your ears. There are proggy moments here and there, so I can see why they are in the Crossover Prog section. About the live album: It lasts just over thirty minutes (but I get it, the band still doesn't have that much material to play). It features five tracks, all of which are between three and five minutes, and it seems like 'OT&DO" are a good musical companion for a night out when you want to hear a young band playing something non-pretentious. Overall, this live album is good but the band are yet to discover their style and where they want to go. The musicians are OK, they can and they will get better with time, of course. So, three stars seems like the proper rating.
