5 stars Three years have passed from the previous album of the Modern-Rock Ensemble "Touch the Mystery" and it was worth the wait. It's a Great Epic, Suite or Concept album or whatever you call it. I love strong epics: Yes "Tales From Topographic Oceans", Genesis "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway", Pink Floyd "The Wall" and understand that it's not an easy thing to compose a good one. From the day when "Night Dreams and Wishes" appeared on the Bandcamp, I've listened to it 5 times and for sure wil listen more and more. It's very different from "Touch The Mystery" and I would say that it's a huge "jump" ahead. A "thank You" goes to Sean Timms as well - Vladimir wrote on the sleeve and poster that Sean helped him a lot with the mix and sound. Nice collaboration! As a musician Vladimir provided his strong voice, played cool acoustic, 12-string and electric guitars, synths, but even more I appreciate his skill of composer and arranger. Fresh arrangements, great strings, penetrating guitar and fierce synths solos, cool drumming, protuberant bass, nice fluite and constant development of the piece kept me in. Only after the 3-rd spin of the CD I guess I understood the whole idea of the suite and all the scenario that Vladimir put in the album. Burlesque of Vladimir's images and Night Dreams is really amazing. Since 70's I have quite big collection of vinyls and CDs, about 15 000, and this album now invaded about 25% of my soul. I do thank Progarchives wich helped me discover Modern-Rock Ensemble! 5 stars to "Night Dreams and Wishes"!
