4 stars The double trio lineup of King Crimson was a short-lived one, producing only an EP, an album, and a brace of exciting live performances, but the THRAK boxed set does a good job of giving you as much double trio action as you could possibly want. Including THRAK itself in multiple mixes, plus the VROOOM EP, various rehearsal materials, and a nice cross-section of their live efforts during the period, the THRAK box will surely be enough to sate anyone's desire for more double trio material than we just got on the original album - and the new mix of the album helped me come to terms with it to an extent I hadn't been able to before.
