3 stars Why does everybody say Leftoverture is such a great album? Leftoverture does not deserve it's rating at all. The album is OK, it has some nice songs, and the band plays well and all, but seriously, what else is there to this album? There isn't a lot of complication around here, it's too acoustic and less proggy than you would think it would be.

The album opens with Carry On my Wayward Son, which is a really good song. It has some heavy guitar riffs, yet a complicated song structure, which "suddenly makes it prog". Carry On is the only song I have nothing bad against, but the rest of them, is a story for another day.

3/5, not the best album, don't jump on me please!
