5 stars This album came out in 1972 and was Nektar's second studio album. The album consists of 5 songs and trust me when I say those 5 songs never get boring, and every song brings something new to the album. Now lets review each song individually.

A Tab in the Ocean - What can I say? not only is this one of the best epics ever made. Its one of the best songs in Prog Rock. With the sounds of the waves in the beginning and the the awesome guitar to start the song off. Then the drums come in with the piano which creates a amazing atmosphere that takes you to another place. The entire song is just incredible. The vocals and guitar work are pretty much perfect. Roye did a great job here. The drums, piano, bass are also perfect for the song. The song never seems to get stall and the journey this song takes you on is exciting throughout it. You can really feel the emotion in the song. The instrumentals are great as well. These guys really put a lot of work and dedication in this song, and album as you will see. ( 5/5 )

Desolation Vally / Waves - This song starts off with a very cool guitar part and then it calms down and Roye starts to sing in a mellow and chill way with nice calm piano in the background, but that does not last long. Then the song speeds up agains and goes into a more rocking section that does not disappoint. well, in general, the entire song does not disappoint. The great guitar work on this song is really evident throughout the entire song. The ending to the song ( Waves ) is just beautiful to say the least. this is another great Nektar piece (4.5/5 )

Cryin' In the Dark - The previous song ( Waves ) fades right into this song and makes it feel like you are listening to the same song. I really enjoyed the piano and guitar work in this song. The musicianship on this song is good as well. I get a Emerson Lake & Palmer vibe with Roye's vocal on this song, which I think work very well on this track. The instrumental towards the end of this song also gives me a early Iron Maiden feeling. This song is just awesome! ( 5/5 )

King of Twilight - Wow, this song is good! It starts of with a excellent rocking beat with amazing vocals. Then after that it goes into a instrument that just blows you away. When the beginning of the song comes back again it just gives you goosebumps. This is a great song ( 5/5 )

Overall this album is one of those albums that you always come back too, Even if you have heard it 20+ times, it just never gets old. With a outstanding epic ( A Tab In the Ocean ) and the rest of the songs on side B, this album definitely one of the best pieces of Progressive Rock music. ( 5/5 )
