3 stars Nandor Tombor and his band Enigmatic Infinity reached to number two album in 2019 named The shadow out of time, after 3 years from debut.

Well, the first was good for sure even great in places, this second offer is at same level, good progressive metal with nice keybords waving all over and top guitar parts. Again Nador done everything to be heared on this release with a help of a vocalist who done a good job overall. As a one man project this is awesome, pieces like opening The Collapse or the title track clocking near 18 min are shown good potential and excellent ideas from Nandor, the arrangements are nice built and has plenty of twists and turns as must have a prog metal album. The duelings between guitar and keyboards are really solid, even impressive in parts, specially that the keyboards passages has a very '70s style feel to it, a very nice integrated in overall prog metal sound. Musician Bálint Imhof helped on keyboards on this album and he done a solid contribution. The voice of new vocalist Rob Lundgren is good, is fiting quite good in this context. A thing must metioned is that on piece number 5 - Nocturnal Wanderings apear Derk Sherinian, a nice surprice and good job.

All in all more then decent modern prog metal, I like it, 3.5 stars. If you like for example last album of Eric Gillette - The great unkown this is right there for prog metal fans or the type of prog metal that bordering in many pleaces towards progressive rock. Both albums worth investigated, Nandor Tombor is a very talented guitar player and is shown on both albums big time. Nice art work aswell.
