4 stars It's amazing there is full of vitality and living power in the overall creation. A Polish unit HAASTA are a young and promising math / heavy rock trio, who finally have released their debut ep "Stworki" ("Creatures" in English). Exactly as the title says, this opus reminds me of something vivacious and animated ... obviously due to their solidated instrumental technique and tempting composition especially with exciting rhythmic bases and delightful melody lines. A little less than half an hour launched via their outer space should ring your bell.'Basically mathy soundscape seasoned with fuzzy, heavy moments and freaky, catchy vibes could be mentioned as the latest King Crimson meet June Of 44. For me sounds like a Japanese Jazz / Hard outfit Next Order.

The first titled shot is a killer, flooded with enchanting guitar lead based upon lyrical phrases, as if sound refinement would have been produced via Discipline Crimson. The silent interval between "Stworki" and "Alfa Centeuri" is another favourite moment actually. Typhoon of explosive instrumental kicks will drive you into madness. "Borderline" is a complicated stuff like mental disorders, tough cases. Well of course you can listen to and enjoy it without any mixed feeling. "Ona Turze Rzeczy" (means what?) would be one of the jazziest fusionist tracks of all in the album. This song makes you think they've got inspired by Crimson, regardless of Math basis. The last one "O'ahu" is my favourite. Middle-tempo, funky,'cheerful disposition can be heard through this epilogue, that brings you to listen to this ep again definitely.
