4 stars From time to time I stumble upon the new band that really leaves me breathless. That was the case with Guranfoe and their first album Sum of Erda released in 2019. From the first moment the band delivers modern sounding music lots of jazz fusion and sounds of classic prog. The entire album is sounding fantastic, it delivers complicated but accessible music with great musicianship and it really leaves a happy feel while listening.

This album consists of five instrumental pieces and they all deliver a great concept abut the planet Guranfoe.

Music is written beautifully and it mainly consists of great acoustic and electric guitar with layers of fantastic keyboard work.

This is a really great album and a must listen for everyone. A really cool deliverd modern sounding prog with lots of great ideas, well mixed with the classic sound.
