4 stars The Stockholm heavy prog/blues conglomerate, consistently deliver quality sound for years. On this album the band brings eloquent, dynamic Heavy prog/ Hard rock style- good vibes and quick, uncomplicated rock music. The songwriting is less experimental than on some previous editions and tighter.

Whether it's the guitar / Hammond duels, the unique psychedelic atmosphere, or bluesy-doomy feel, you always have the impression that you are listening to music that is at least four decades old. But is this a bad thing, in my opinion it is not, presenting music in this way, definitely does not take away the creativity of the band. By successfully presenting all the elements mentioned, Siena Root, definitely brings a dose of uniqueness, it is important to say that the band at no time copies, but displays and pays homage to the styles that founded the powerful heavy sound.

"Pioneers" shows serenity and is still fresh within the given framework, they managed to merge various seventies influences into their own band sound. The musical twists and turns make sense, and unfold in a logical way. Siena Root are here to rock you, not impress you with fussy, progressive arrangements.
