3 stars Aside from the aforementioned negativity of my predecessor this album is GOOD for Herbie Hancock. I have turned on many ears towards jazz with the help of this album. People whom assume when Herbie is spoken of that one is referring to Rockit. Pop does not equal crap as many of the people on this site seem to believe. In fact I find it easier to concentrate on my work when I have a catchy song stuck in my head to which I must sing.

Absolutely great songs on this album are 'A song for you', 'Sister Moon', and 'I just called to say I love you'.

Christina Aguilera has one of the most beautiful voices ever. With her 6 octave range she can hit about any note and in any variation. It's a shame that she mostly limits herself to pop. She would be a great asset to the nu-jazz / traditional jazz environment. She really shows how she has matured vocally on this album and has set herself aside from the Brittney's and the Jessica's. 5 stars

Sister Moon shows Stings jazzy side. Which I must say is a refreshing break from the new age alternative music he's been shoving down our throats (Desert Rose). His voice is strong here and Herbie composition and leadership shows. 5 stars.

Raul Midon is the next Stevie Wonder. He's blind. He's a phenomenal musician (Guitar rather than keys), and he certainly has a set of pipes on him. What a better way to commemorate Stevie than to cover one of his greatest love songs. Raul I salute you. Readers of this should check out Raul's solo albums. You can even download some of his live shows for free at livearchive.org 5 stars.

The rest of the songs range from 2 - 3 stars in my opinion and are forgettable. Averaging out the score I give it 3 stars. Mainly because of it's ability to bring rock and rollers over to the jazz side.
