5 stars I have always said this record is more important than the already-legendary Scream Bloody Gore because, while Scream Bloody Gore definitely was one of the pioneers of death metal, it wasn't the very first death metal album. Human is THE first progressive death metal album. I genuinely can't mention another album with a sense of dynamic and progressiveness as well achieved as in this record. Funnily enough, it got topped twice by the same band, that goes by the name of... DEATH!

There's eight tracks, but none of them are weak in any way. Standouts are Flattening Of Emotions, Lack Of Comprehension And Cosmic Sea. Legendary album, essential to the genre.
