5 stars Mirage is the second studio album by English Progressive Rock Band Camel which released on March 1st 1974. The instrumentation on this album is great from everyone, I especially liked bass, flutes, and keyboards. Some of the sounds and tones on this album can sound a little experimental, but its not hard to get attached to them. The instrumentals were especially beautiful on this album. The songs with lyrics were also good, the vocals and lyrics are pretty good, and the songs were fun to listen too, you can really get lost in the whole album. I would say the production is very good for the time, its not too rough, it actually sounds pretty smooth. I do not know if I would consider it an essential prog album, but I cant think of anything wrong with it, I love it, so for that, I will give it a 5/5
