3 stars Good but not essential. I cannot compare it to Steve's previous albums because I haven't heard many of them. But this one is enjoyable. My favourites are: Circus Of Becoming, Frozen Statues, Wind Sand & Stars, Rebecca, The Silk Road and The Serpentine Song, but most is good too. Come Away conjures some beautiful Tolkien atmosphere (at least for me). However the album is not free of some faults. Mechanical Bride is just very poor King Crimson rip-off, Devil Englishman is a musical joke that quickly gets annoying and cheesy while Brand New is constructed of many parts that don't have much in common. I'd recommend to buy this album in regular edition. Bonus tracks on de-luxe edition are averege and don't add anything new to the album (they even make it too long). There is also "Marijuana". What put Steve to make such a piece of shit!? Check it yourself if you don't believe me.
