Mister Kite is a total unknown band from Sweden who combine in places progressive metal with hard rock and melodic power metal. They release so far two albums, this is the first one named All the time, issued at Lion Music in 2002. At first listning I was struck about the musiciaship, how easy these guys plays, but also the music is very much towards hard rock not far from , american bands from late'80's. It's obvious, because in the linear nots of the CD the musicians tanks for inspiration amomg others to Peter Gabriel and Motley Crue ( from where they took a lot), this album is almost similar in every pieces with the americans. So, the music is well composed, very uptempo with lots of great riifs, energic druming and excellent vocal parts, Alf Wemmenling has a powerfull voice just perfect for this music. The main problem is that this album is to linear, to much the same on every piece, was needed much more diverse arrangements. The rythmyc section is awesome, from the first piece All In Time - Mister Kite kick major ass, heavy riffs but with an american sound overall, as I said not far from Motley Crue in the end. The keybords are sporadic, only on The Diary Of A Stranger - divided in 3 parts has a more important role and even some solo. So, a good album, the best from the two released by the band, the next one is weaker and falls in another category. 3 stars, in some mparts more like 3.5, decent to great in places, but not really something very strong or close to something essential, still enjoyble. For fans who like T.O.C, and bands with more groove in the music with a moder touch
