Much more interesting than its forerunner - it has also a great cover of Meurglyss III of VDGG fame - they are much more together and tighter as a group and the compositions are more direct, energetic and better written. Germinale , along with Finisterre, are very representative of nowadays Italian symphonic prog and I consider this album the flagship of this era.
