FRAGILE

If this album included only "Roundabout", "We Have Heaven", "South Side of the Sky", "Long Distance Runaround", and "Heart of the Sunrise", I would give it a solid 5 star classic rating. Not to say that it is not a fine, classic album- but the shorter individual member pieces don't really do it for me. They would have been better as parts of solo albums. I love Wakeman, Squire, and the rest in Yes, but have never really gotten into their solo works, especially Wakeman. Still, this is one of the best that Yes has to offer- along with CLOSE TO THE EDGE, and RELAYER, both of which I play much more than FRAGILE. So- a flawed masterpiece. 4 stars
