4 stars From the dynamic opening track "Service With A Smile", which in my opinion has to be one of the best instrumental tracks ever recorded under three minutes, to the beautiful "Morning Sun" and right on through, this album has everything a progressive rock fan could wish for. However, you should be aware that it only features one track with vocals, namely "Wind Up Doll Day Wind" which evokes memories of early Genesis. Otherwise I guess the sound of this album could be compared to Camel, a band which Watkins briefly joined ("I Can See Your House From Here"), but for me also to a later band such as Cyan. The music on this album is at times breathtaking. It has an effortless flowing and crystal clear quality to it, which is a joy to hear. Not that complex, even though there´s some fusion to be heard as well ("Ibby It Is"), but I should think it has enough variations to satisfy those with a partiality for more complex compositions. To sum it up this is one recording that should be in your collection.
