If you're a metal fan who wants to evolve, this is a must have!

I hesitated to assign a five star rating to this album. Very few albums can be masterpieces of progressive music, if it's even fair to label music. But this album is, without a doubt, a masterpiece for many elaborate-metal lovers.

Focus is the result of many years of its artists evolution, from a rather technical death-metal to a fusion of many musical influences, with great enphasis on metal and progressive rock. Brutality and beauty, calm and turbulence, meaningful lyrics, and virtuosismo... It is a rehearsal of a new genre, perhaps dead at birth.

Therefore, buy it, listen to it carefully and enjoy it!

P.S.: I recommend Atheist's "Unquestionable Presence", Aghora and Sean Malone's "Gordian Knot" project for those who have heard this album.
