3 stars This album well represent the fact that music is a very individualistic affair and everyone has a different feeling about the matter. But one thing is certain: this is not prog music. Brit pop, pop, psychedelic rock or rock in general terms, but sure not progressive. If you listen to PT Lightbulb Sun as a pop album you can say that this is not bad, and maybe could be rated at a good level, but if you try to put it in the prog area you are truly wrong. So progster, stay away from here, because inside of lightbulb you will never find something that could match to your tastes. I know that I put well defined limits to our beloved music is difficult, but it's not so hard to recognize what is not matching with the true spirit of progressive rock. Lightbulb Sun is a perfect example of what i mean. Good music indeed, but not prog.
