4 stars A seamless album without whiplash changes in tempo. I have listened to FOL countless times over the last 30 years and it always delivers. The time and space this record creates in my mind, and what Prog Rock is all about, allows for an uplifting, dream-like experience.

I can't describe what the glue is that holds this LP together. I do know that when I hear Silver Winds I look to the sky and somehow the lyrics make sense to me. Before I know it the next track is playing and I am not sure where Silver Winds left off and where the next song started.

No matter though, as the transition is fluid, calming, and on point. This is one of those works that I never skip a song. It all just makes sense in any order, at any volume, and at anytime.
