3 stars Video (games) made the radio star...

The debut EP from two-man instrumental outfit An Endless Sporadic.

The Good: Despite both members being geographically isolated for much of the recording of this release, the music itself is not only incredibly cohesiveness but also great fun to listen too. Three of the four tracks found on the EP have featured on various video game soundtracks, which I guess is appropriate given their style of their music, but it's also important not to pigeonhole An Endless Sporadic as being 'one of those bands' because their compositions are actually incredibly deep and moving... ok so who am I kidding! It's just a load of catchy noodling. But who cares when it sounds great and remains interesting throughout.

The Bad: The production leaves the release sounding a bit hollow at times and the song structure is slightly formulaic.

The Verdict: Definitely worth checking out.
