4 stars Well, if you've happened to listen to this album for the first time, you might think you picked the wrong one, I mean "no-prog album". Yes, from this album Machiavel tried to change their musical direction and persued the way to be recognized as the band not only accepted from the prog fans but also from general music fans.

For me, personally and honestly, it took some time to accept the way they had chosen. However, the new music of Machiavel didn't disappoint me at all.

I felt like same feeling after listening to Yes-90125 or Queen-Hot Space. It wasn't disappointment but like sheer heart attack.

Even though, they adapted a lot of pop elements into their music, the composition was so fresh and they presented the new direction of their music successfully. One of the tracks in the album called OVER THE HILL would prove it.

Even though the album isn't so prog, give it a try and you won't be disappointed at least you could feel a sense they made this album so carefully. We know when it's time to change then both parties-for the artists and fans need to be more open minded. As you guys already know music isn't for the head but the heart and I'm sure you will feel the musical caring heart for the new album from Machiavel's members. Poppy texture from Proggy Mind!
