4 stars First album by famous "relatively" Kraut rockers Guru Guru, and it is quite the debut. Very tripped out and drenched in so much acid that it is spilling out of the cd case I have. This is very early experimental Kraut music with the second half leaning a lot towards a more electronic music than the jams on the first side. I am quite happy overall with this album, but it is not without it's faults. As Warthur said in his review, I do not think they were that great of muscians at this point, or they were so brain dead from the LSD that they could barely stand up. Either case i still love the tripped out playing and jams that I have a feeling were probably edited down (like the ending of Girl Call that abruptly goes into the repetitive riff of Dalai). The only song that i do not really care for is Stone in because of the annoying moanings and groanings by Mani. I also do wish that they could have gotten out of the state of totally tripped out mindset and actually gone into a good groove at least for a little bit, because it always sounds like they are trying REALLY hard to boil over into one, but it either dies off or the song ends (Girl Call).

But, this album is still are very enjoyable album to have and I will never grow tired of listening to this one.
