3 stars One of Frank's more well known records, with the extremely sexual laden songs, Camarillo Brillo, Dirty Love, and Dinah-Moe-Humm. This record while being his best known it is not a favorite of mine. I do not care for the sound on most of these songs, they get old and are not as memorable in my opinion, than We're Only In It For The Money. The best songs on here are Zomby Woof, Fifty-Fifty and Monatana, which have the more memorable moments than most of the other songs. The main thing about this album I do not like is that the music is not as interesting, and Zappa seems less focused on making music, and more concerned with being funny. It is certaintly funny ( unless you hate sex jokes ), but the music is not there. The most memorable part is the keyboard solo during Fifty-Fifty which is the best moment of this whole record. Jean Luc Ponty's following violin solo is also very enjoyable to, I have to add. Good, but not essential.
